Yes, my training is a bit hit and miss, but I'm doing the half
marathon at the end of November.
My training for the next three months (besides the walking for the
half) is whatever will get some weight off. It's really interfering with
my energy level, speed, body image, etc. So I'm concentrating on
weight loss.
In January I'll subscribe to a training plan at beginnertraithlete.com
and focus on the bike and swim and get back to running. With
some of the weight off, I might actually get speedier!
I'm doing well, just these last two weeks especially, with weight
training. And logging my food. Trying to get a handle on eating
after dinner. I occasionally get in a short bike ride and a swim or a
aqua jogging class.
I think us overweight, middle-aged non-athletes possible have
different definitions of "in training" than our more fit fellow
athletes--you think?!
So what are you interested in trying? Are you working out? I'd love
to hear--maybe encourage, b**ch and moan a bit together?'
