Subject: post-pregnancy fitness

Hello folks!

I am new here, and would like to join the board for support! My son was born 4 months ago, and I am giving myself a year to get my body back into shape. I topped out at 203 lbs during my pregnancy and am now 180 lbs. My goal is to be fit and healthy and hopefully around 160 lbs a year from now.

I started doing abdominal work and aerobics 8 weeks ago, but got bored with that and started running. So I've been treadmill running for four weeks now, and I feel great!! I have already improved my speed and distance in just four weeks and my body is responding positively, besides a little knee soreness.

So that is my story. I hope I can be inspired and perhaps even lend some inspiration to others. Be well!
