when I was growing up was referred to as a person with alot of personality! She's very
dramatic and sure seems to love the limelight. So more power to her, she's having a good
time.

I read Stop the Insanity about three years ago. It was entertaining and she made good points.
I also read The Politics of Stupid earlier this year. Less entertaining. Still, good points. How
can you argue with

-->eat, breathe, move, think!

And taking responsibility for your own decisions is the beginning of any sort of change.

So I think alot of what she says is right on the money.

When I'm with people like that, I enjoy the energy, but always want to know where the door
is, for a quick getaway. It can get a little overwhelming!

It's clear in both her books (actually, I didn't know she's written a bunch!) that she needs
someone/thing to be against as a way to orient herself to the world. Guys, corporations, the
current culture. She loses credibility there. It doesn't seem to be based on logic so much as
her current emotional state. In fact, I'm sure she expects her life to run according to how she
currently feels. And when it doesn't, it's somebody's fault (watch out!).

For all her I-am-not-a-victim stuff, she seems to want us to feel sorry for how her producer/
director, etc. took advantage of little Susan when she had a tv program. I'm sure it was a
demanding experience, but her attitude isn't exactly in line with what she says in other parts
of the interview. In fact, in the books and the interview, it sure seems alot of people are out
to get poor, well meaning, delicate Susan. So I suppose she sees herself that way (delicate,
put-upon), as well as powerful, sometimes one, sometimes the other.

All in all, she sure protests one heck of a lot (too much?).

I hope she and her boys are dealing well with the huperson part of life. I bet she's a good
mother, and having a *strong* personality in a mother can be a good thing. Especially when
it's balanced with the father's energy.

So that's my take on it. And yours?
