Subject:	does anyone have any good things to say about paraguard?

I have an appointment to have Paraguard inserted in Early June. I am allergic to basicaly any form of hormone birth control. My doctor feels that Paraguard would be right for me. I have a seven month old now and my husband and I do not want anymore children for at least 2-4 years.
I did as much research and reading as I could about this form of BC. I felt like it would be a good thing for me and than I stumbled on to these posts. I can understand the cramping after the insertion, but some of the other things are scary. I feel like I am only reading negative feedback. Does anyone have any good experiences to share concerning paraguard?
