I hope it gets better for you, I had the same experience. I was told
it should mellow within a month or so but never has. I experience
the heaviest and worst cramps during periods now. My flow is
dark and HEAVY. I went from a 2-3 day bleeding cycle to a 7-10
day HEAVY cycle. I hate it, I never used to get cramps EVER. I got
mine put in April 2007 and it has continued to get worse every
month. I have decided to take mine out ASAP. I can also feel it
during sex and then I spot afterwards. NO FUN! Im done with it. I
gave it a year and nothing changed for the better things just
progressively got worse. I feel like I am always on my period now
or in a state of PMS.
I remember when I heard about this option I was thrilled to find a
non-hormone BC but now I feel like it is just wrong to put
something foreign in your body and think it will go well. More
power to the people that have found this option workable, I just
cant take it anymore.
