I got mine in April of 2007 and have been waiting for it to get
better. I used to never get cramps or have heavy periods now they
are horrible. I used to have no cramps and a 2-3 day cycle of
bleeding, now I am doubled over with cramping and have 7-10 day
HEAVY cycle. I also noticed slight spotting after sex, sometimes I
could even feel it during intercourse. The no hormone options
sounded great but I wish I would have been told about the rest of
it.
Now I am reading all kinds of side effects like hair loss due to
elevated levels of copper in the body. Yikes enough is enough, I am
done with this horrible device. I didnt want to go back on a
hormone pill, I thought this was an easy solution but not with this
horribly intensified period. I guess its time to talk to the hubby
about the vasectomy. Good times! Im getting mine out ASAP!
