i was diagnosed with thyroid problems after the birth of my daughter, i lost weight so much i was worried blood tests later its been overactive underactive normal then all of the above again ive just been told by my doctor i can only stay on carbizimol for another 5 months after which i either have the choice of surgery or radioactive stuff shoved in my body that i cant go anywhere near my 2 year old for two weeks, yeah right either way ill still be on tablets the two options are cheaper for the nhs than keeping me on carbizimol what option have i got...to put up with it
