I have had paraguard since Nov. of 2005. When I went in for the procedure. I was told that it could be painful like having cramps. But that not what I felt! I felt like I was about to pass out from the pain. After the procedure I drove myself home. Also cramped like there was no tomorrow all the way home. I spotted for about 2 weeks and then I was fine. Ever since I got paraguard inserted my periods have been extremely heavy. I wear tampons ( Super Plus ) and then a regular pad. yeah thats how heavy it is... anyway well NOW i have been spotting for about a month. spotting like a discharge looks like old blood almost black. And at this point I am scarred. I am not in pain but its a hassle. plus i am so used to having like really bad cramps and just got off my period and I felt like i was fine. and thats just wierd of me not having any cramp at all... so now i am on here seeking help so if some one will post something pls lemmeknow someting.. Thanks! JG
