it sounds like a yeast infection to me. a uti would be very painful, you would know if you had one. uti is painful urination, frequent urination (but not much comes out), abdominal pain, pus and or blood in urine. your symptoms to me sound like a dry yeast inf. you should get a diflucan from the dr, or better yet, use a natural garlic cure. take a clove of garlic, peeled, wrap it in thin gauze so that the gauze string hangs down like a tampon - just knot the gauze on the garlic. then insert like tampon, change every six hrs or so, for a few days. this should really help.
