Hi Paola, correction, i lost 30 pounds = 13.6 kilos. I did the following: 1. tracking/logging food every day - this i think was most critical as i was unaware of how many calories i was consuming. 2. limited added oils e.g. olive oil in salads 3. i stuck to whole, unprocessed fruit, vegetables, legumes (no dairy) 4. limited grains, especially breads 5. lots of water 6. daily exercise - i run almost every day and strength train several times a week. find a workout buddy for motivation. 7. tried to get good sleep 8. no alcohol (i don't drink anyways) 9. i added ground flaxseed almost daily (for good fats) 10. patience and committment - it took me 30 weeks. 11. measured my weight weekly and logged it. hope this helps :) tina
