Psyched out by brown urine I lost 18 pounds recently in 1 week(15.5 lbs in 2 days!) and thought I'd turn you on to this flick I was watching every day of that week. What did I do to lose the weight: 1)1 cucumber per day(or 1 bowl of spinach, containing 4 tsp of beans, plus seasonings with spaghetti sauce and squash soup added) plus 3 fruits 2)3 hours of walking daily. Why did I go off the diet and binge the past 3 days eating huge amounts of protein and oil without exercising: urine color dark brown for 2 weeks which I thought to be a horror story of catabolysis of kidneys, brain and heart fat free mass tissue(the urine has gone back to clear, colorless and odorless). I read in weight loss textbooks that fat free mass is heavily catabolized in early stages of dieting, with the body catabolizing more proportionately the fat stores later on in the diet. If I hadn't read this I wouldn't have cared about the urine color. Maybe this was a liver flush and not fat free mass at all. I'll have to look up what brown urine might mean in weight loss books. In kidney books it means liver bilirubin.
