thanks for your post, I noticed this is an old thread--do you post on other websites/found them helpful? I am on sparkpeople, and it's great b/c it's totally free. But not really vegetarian. I have to fill out my own meal plans. I am doing mostly Eat More, Weigh Less, Dean Orstein, it's great for veg diet and spiritual too. But I have noticed improvements in just a couple of days just from cutting meat out, refined sugar, white bread. I am working in Asia right now so white rice is hard to avoid. That's the thing though--I am good for about 2 weeks and then go down, so trying to keep up the spiritual, mental and moral side of veganism to help me.
