Congratulations on getting started! I am at a similar stage as you. I'm 37, 250 lbs. and getting healthier. I have been eating a lot healthier for the past year and I definitely feel much better than last year. My energy is up, I no longer feel depressed and my complexion has improved. I lost about 15 lbs. but have stayed steady for the past 8 months. I am currently stepping up my exercise routine and focusing on cutting the crap out of my diet. I am following Eat To Live, by Joel Fuhrman, and I know a co-worker is also interested in eating healthier. Michael
