I just made the easy brownie recipe from the November 2006 newsletter. Chocolate cake mix combined with a can of pumpkin. Mary claims they are delicious and don't taste like pumkin. Funny, they smell like pumpkin and they taste faintly like burned pumpkin too. The aftertaste is nasty.....I'm willing to try anything, but, I will go with my first instinct - if I don't think it will work, then it won't!! And the mix was expensive, too - $3.49 for organic chocolate cake mix. Will keep on experimenting.
