I am in the fourth day of a fast. I am doing a water only fast this time. If you are a christian then you probably already know that there are scriptures that talk about fasting. One says "When"you fast and pray it doesn't say "If". There are many wonderful books on fasting at the Christian bookstore. There are many that share the benefits of fasting, the many different types of biblical fasting, and also many testimonies of things accomplished by prayer and fasting. I hope this helps.
