and seem to show a clear trend. In my teens and early twenties my blood pressure was always around 90 over 60. As I gained weight and got older my blood pressure slowly crept up. In July 2002 when I was at my heaviest weight ever my blood pressure was consistently around 130 over 80. As I have lost weight my blood pressure has slowly decreased to where it is now around 115 over 70. When you say anything under 120 over 80 is "great" what do you mean by that and what source(s) are you basing that on? For now eating better helps me to lose weight which brings (or at least appears to) my blood pressure lower. There are things which I haven't been willing to do yet such as decrease my salt intake. If I am at my ideal weight and living a healthy lifestyle and my blood pressure is still over 100 over 70 I would decrease my salt intake to get it under this level; unless of course you convince me that there are no benefits to this :-). Anyway I just wanted to add this last paragraph so you would know that I am not talking about extreme measures to get my blood pressure lower.
