I liked your goals. Made me want to write down my own. Here’s what I came up with. Eat a “no added fat” vegan diet. Keep my sodium intake under 1000 milligrams per day. (a tablespoon of Kikkoman lite soy sauce had 575 milligrams). Buy & eat as many locally grown organic fruits and veggies as possible this spring, summer, and fall. I live in the Pacific Northwest, so we don’t grow avocados and grapefruit up here. But I should be able to find local organic potatoes, apples, nectarines, cabbage, carrots, celery, etc., at various times during the summer. I also have a new (used) dehydrator that I plan to try out this season. And finally, I plan to get fit and healthy so that I can influence others to eat a healthier diet and avoid the myriad of painful and debilitating diseases that are caused from eating SAD.
