Ridgerunner, thank you for your thoughtful & intelligent response. My local library system has Dr Fuhrman’s book on fasting and I reserved it. It should be available to pick up next week. You mentioned medical supervision for fasts over 3 days. How did you approach a doctor to do this? I really dislike doctors. This may be irrational on my part. I have fibromyalgia and most mainstream doctors think it’s all in your head.
