Thanks for your response! Very helpful. I'm making a few changes: logging my food intake and calories, cutting down starches but not eliminating (keeping sweet potatoes in sm. amounts), keeping fruits @ 2-3 per day. I'm noticing a difference already! Feeling lighter. I, too, have arthritis (osteo), and I will tell you and the whole world, that I have never felt BETTER than since I started following McDougall!!
