I REALLY REALLY hate to exercise. Recently, what has helped me is to realize that exercise is like working...you don't want to do it, but if you don't, you won't get paid. Exercise pays you with good health, a good looking body, energy and self-esteem. So, this morning when my alarm went off at 4:45 am, I seriously thought about going back to bed. I am very lazy about exercise. But, I got up and went to the YMCA (I love the Y!) and ran for 30mins. I hated every minute of it. But, I felt energized the entire day and felt happier than if I didn't go. You really need to get into the mindset that working out is WORKING. You aren't always going to want to do it, but you have to if you want to keep your health. P.S. I LOVE weights too. Its such an instant gratitude because you can see your muscles growing. Unlike trying to lose weight, which doesn't seem to want to happen for me! :)
