When I was a pure vegetarian and still consumed honey (before I found out it was bee vomit -- yuck!), my favorite cereal was Kashi GOLEAN (Not the Crunch version). Now, I stick to cold oatmeal.
I have McDougall's boxed apple cinnamon oatmeal in my cupboard right now. I'll make it at night, cover it, stick it in the 'fridge, and it's a nice jello-like consistency in the morning. I just can't stand anything hot! I suppose it's because my Ayurvedic is Pitta (http://www.whfoods.com/genpage.php?tname=diet&dbid=12).
I have a tendency to switch my cereals a lot. If I like a cereal too much (i.e. pretty much any of Kashi's vegan cereals), I'll overeat. So, I have had to find a balance of "I enjoy this, but not too much." I've found a tea I really like (It's like liquid cinnamon and I'm a cinnamon addict -- have been since conception; my mother lived off of cinnamon graham crackers), and that's helped me quell my desires to binge.
Feel free to e-mail me. I'm a rambler and will talk your ear off, though! That's why I'm cutting this post short.
