What I always recommned to people who make posts about overeating is to post a food log. Every body works differently, at least IMO, and you need to find the way your body feels full the best.

Case in point, many people have found their weightloss increase and appetite decrease after eliminatin wheat or gluten from their diet. I, however, binge like a madwoman if I try to give up wheat/gluten. When I eat wheat/gluten, I feel full and end up losing weight.

Many people also find that beans supress their appetite and boost weight loss. I, however, cannot tolerate beans. When I eat beans, even in tiny amounts, I bloat up and look pregnant. I'll feel full, but it's a achy/almost-nauseating full; minutes later I'm hungry again, though!

"Lifestyle" diets just don't work for me (i.e Ornish, McDougall, E2L, etc.). It all was, and still is(!), trial and error for me.
