In the san Francisco Bay area including the famous Greens where I celebrated my 10th anniversary 17 years ago and it is still going strong. It's upscale, gorgeous water view, delicious food, wonderful service. Many other vegetarian restaurants also including vegetarian Chinese. I think this area is pretty health conscious in general. Lots of walkers and runners. Whole Foods stores everywhere. However as a nation collectively weight is increasing and health declining.
