Has lack of space prevented you from growing your own veggies, herbs, berries, and fruit? Think again! During this innovative workshop, gardening expert Darren Butler will introduce ingenious methods for growing edibles in spaces as small as a windowsill. After filling your minds and notebooks with useful and sometimes surprising tips for small-scale gardening, Darren will lead a hands-on activity mixing soil and planting a pot for you to take home.

Then you'll learn what it means to eat with the seasons! Natural foods chef Christy Morgan will teach you elements of Seasonal Cooking, so you're able to take your veggies straight from your patio to your plate. After the 2 hour cooking demonstration we'll enjoy a dinner of seasonal edibles that we make in class.
