"All red and internally sore" means you had a positive reaction to the PPD test. This is not at all abnormal and does not mean that you have TB...but the possibility that you were exposed is very likely. Didn't the person who read the test explain this all to you? They should have. I'm a nurse so I give and read these tests on a regular basis. Jo is correct in that your veganism did not have anything to do with the reaction. Your immune system is what triggered the reaction.
