Hi, Sue! While it's true that we tend to believe in general that a woman looks younger without white, silver, or gray hair, a woman with confidence in her natural beauty can look gorgeous without that kind of tampering (regardless of what age she is). Our cultural ideal of beauty is a distorted one. The images we see (in print, online, in magazines, on TV) of the "ideal beauty" are usually of women who are unnaturally thin, who are wearing lots of makeup, and who have dyed, bleached, or otherwise treated hair. We no longer view older women who are "natural" as beautiful, and that's really sad, because our standard of beauty is so incredibly superficial (not to mention sexist).
