Thanks Sue!

We have several friends, none of which are vegan. My husband and I are kinship leaders at
our church. Our kinship group gets together every two weeks where there is always a meal
involved. I bring something vegan when it comes to an appetizer, dessert, or salad. When it
comes to the main course, I'm the odd man out so I have to make something with meat for
them. I call them my guinea pigs when I bring a new vegan dish. They like when I bring salad
due to the fact that along with the leafy greens I put an array of veggies with some fruit and
nuts/seeds.

My hubby and I celebrated 31 yrs of marriage the other day. We always go to this fancy
steakhouse which in the past I always had the salmon. This time they fixed me up a veggie
plate. My husband ordered a huge T-bone :/ He is a meateater. He will eat some vegan
meals that I make like burgers or veggie meatloaves. He's not crazy about them, but he'll eat
'em.

I am very happy with being vegan. I only wish I new about it when my kids were little. They
might have all been vegans now. My youngest is a vegan. My daughter is very selective in
what she gives my grandson. He has a beautiful and healthy diet! My daughter-in-law also
feeds my other three wonderful grandbabies lots of fruits an veggies, and she's always open
to healthy suggestions.

We were over by my son's house one day for dinner where the main course was a whole
roasted chicken. My husband (Papa) was starting to cut it when my eldest grandson became
sad over the fact that Papa was going to cut the chicken. I thought, Ahh, a vegetarian in the
making.

Don't I wish!

Blessings ~ Nora
