I was married for 16 years and have now been on my own for the past 23 years, and I love it. I've dated some, and have enjoyed having an occassional "boy-friend", but when it comes right down to it, I don't want anything permanent. I love my life, love making my own decisions, and especially love going home to my own house. I know that not all marriages are as abusive as mine was, but I'm not willing to sell my freedom ever again. I usually just tell people that having a boy friend would cut into my spinning time!
