That I'm happy and content being single? When I state that fact they think I'm lying or covering up the unhappiness in my single state. Wha'? I've posted here that my husband left me after 33 years of marriage with nothing, and now I have a degree in nursing, am about to start work, have a lovely apartment, and wonderful friends and family who fill my days. What am I missing? Why don't they believe me? I'm geting tired of having to prove my "happiness". My family totally understands(but even one Son-IL stated "Mom, you'll change your mind when you meet the "right guy"."), it's my friends I have a problem with. Or people I've just met. Don't try to match me up, I don't have time or want to make the effort to start a relationship with a man. I have plenty of relationships I can't find enough time for.....I'm spending the next two days with my daughter and her family, have a dinner and movie date with a female friend for Monday night, am making plans to go to Europe with a friend in 2011, I don't need a man in my life to be happy...in fact my husband did me a favor by leaving, LOL! Ok, this is where you come in...I need some kind but blunt lines to use to make people understand I don't need a man, nor want one, in my future.....GO!
