Hi Cyn,

I personally have not tried these yet but here are some suggestions on other things to put on corn on the cob, they are from Jeff Novick from the "is this healthy" board here on Vegsource.

Instead of margarine or butter

On corn use

-mashed avocado
-fresh salsa or
-thinned tahini with lemon juice

Other recommendations to replace the fat are:

mashed avocado on toast or on potatoes
fresh salsa on toast or on potatoes
mashed banana on toast
thinned tahini with lemon juice on potatoes

I'm curious to try the avocado on corn on the cob so I should
go buy an avocado since I've got lots of corn! I find though when it's really fresh and yummy corn doesn't need anything. Heck sometimes it's pretty good even raw, but it has to be freshly picked while it's still sweet and not gone starchy.

Good luck with your test results and happy McDougalling!
