Greetings Echo, Anne, and sister Elders! I just bought a brand-new bicycle (my other one was very girly, and I was ready for a more grown-up bike). It's hard to find great bikes in small sizes (yes, I've finally accepted the fact that I am indeed short -- much to my surprise and dismay, as I certainly don't feel as short as everyone seems to believe I am). It's a real sweetie -- light and lovely and lightning fast. We went riding today on a rails-to-trails trail, even though the temp is in the upper 80s and the humidity is about 100%. I don't think I've ever sweated, er, perspired, quite this much. At any rate, I feel pretty good for a relatively old geezer (um, relatively old, short geezer, I suppose). It's great to see so many age groups on the trails -- some who are much more geezerly than I (though few who are as short). Hope you are having a wonderful summer, everyone!
