I love Aubrey Organics products, and the majority of them are vegan, but this one is not marked as such (so you would have to contact the company to find out). I do not color my hair (never have), so I cannot vouch for this product. However, it should be free of chemicals and synthetics and has not been tested on animals. The site says to call the company for special instructions (before ordering) if your hair is more than 20% gray.
