I still have that cookbook, although I don't use it that much any more. At the time, it was one of my first exposures to things like almond milk and other "stedda" food (as she called it), like "stedda" (instead of) chicken, beef, and tuna dishes. I had a lot of fun with this book, and it was a good launching point for me at that time of my life.

Thanks, Echo, for reminding me of all this - I actually might look at some of Marilyn's salad recipes, as I recall, they were pretty good! That is, if it ever warms up around here (I'm currently in northeastern Michigan, and it's been pretty cold!)
