All of us, in one form or another, at one time or another, have had to deal with challenges to our diet. (I doubt there are too many life long vegans from vegan families who are old enough to enter the Tent. But maybe our children will qualify!)

We are sometimes very active here, sometimes active in other parts of our lives and thus not so active here. Mainly I notice a lot of support.

When I got married I made my husband a steak every night, and then I made baked potatoes and a salad for both of us. That was a long time and several lifestyles ago, but it was tough. If I hadn't loved him so much, the kisses would have been more than I could stand.

There was also the sandwich from a loving grandmother who was trying -- two pieces of store-bought "smush" white bread with some Hellman's mayo and a slice of American cheese in between. She didn't understand, but she loved me anyway and for that I will be always grateful.

Anyway, welcome.
