Subject: Any Good Reading Lately?

Anyone reading any good books lately? I love to shop at the Goodwill for books, especially on 50% off days. In March I stocked up on a 50% off day and now have a bag full of books, which I pass on after reading. Right now I am about half way through the book "Midwives" (Chris Bohjalian), a fascinating story (fiction) about a midwife in Virgina who goes to trial after losing a mother during a delivery. Just before that I read "Widow for One Year" by John Irving - okay, but sort of a let down after reading "The Secret Life of Bees", which I really, really enjoyed.
