Hi, Pat!! It's an electronic device that Amazon created that allows you download thousands of books to it for a fraction of a cost of a printed book. It's rather cool and is quite popular. From an ecological standpoint, it makes great sense. I guess you could curl up with it, but I do love the feel of an actual book in my hands. :-)
