We turned Mothers' Day into a mini family reunion and went out to eat. At Old Country Buffet. This was my first time eating there (probably my ONLY time eating there). Thank goodness for a fairly good salad bar because the rest of the food was pretty much drowned in butter or smothered in cheese. I had a good time visiting with my family, ate a lot of salad greens, and made a grilled tempeh sandwich when I got back home. And I sent the OCB a letter, suggesting they add more vegan/vegetarian friendly foods to their line up.
