Wow, Anne, that sure IS a sticky situation. I really don't have any advice to offer -- no matter what you do you are going to be in a pickle. If your boss is closed-minded and judgmental of anyone who disagrees with her, what can you do? You can try talking to her, but you know that you might be putting your job in jeopardy, which you said you are not in a position to do. That appears to be the only feasible choice, other than trying to squelch your emotions and forge ahead with this. While neither of these is ideal, it seems your only option is to pick the one you think you can live with (and that is a VERY difficult decision!).
