Subject: Possible urethritis/vaginitis/bladder great discomfort

Dear Ladies,
I'm 63 and for the past month I've been in pain first thinking this was a candida based vaginal yeast infection. I started on a natural heavy metal detox regimin for past 3 mos and recently began taking high doses of Alli-c (natural stablized (heart of the garlic) capsules.
I'm so uncomfortable, my diet is varied but I like vegetarian food.
I am afraid to go to the gynecologist, I have a natural wholistic MD who says I could see them. I have been crying I know I have a hormonal imbalance. I just need reassurance and a friend who's gone through this. Please help. I appreciate any suggestions, or Physician's advice. I need to calm down and not be so afraid of the medical care.
