Becky, thank you so much for sharing your story. I am so happy to know it had a happy ending. There are many things in my life that I regret, but sadly, not all the people are around to whom I owe an apology. I have apologized (and forgiven those whom I needed to forgive) in my own way, despite the barriers of time and death. It's important to make peace with these things, but it often takes years to come to grips with them. Your father sounds like an amazing man! What a gift he gave you! I believe I was the one who recommended On Apology to you (or to our sisters here in the Tent). I wrote a glowing review for the book on Amazon -- it's outstanding! ~Jo
