Hello, Susan. Welcome, and happy early birthday! Gaining weight after 50 is a problem nearly all of us experience. I think the key to losing weight is the same at any age -- eat healthful foods; omit junk foods and high-calorie, low-nutritive foods; and exercise daily. Although there are a lot of fad diets and exercise routines around, choosing one that is health-supporting that you can stick with is probably the only "secret." ~Jo
