Well, this morning we had sunshine. This afternoon/evening we have snow. My husband says "Good, more moisture for the ground and water for the well." It's pretty, but I see baby daffodils and hyacinths at the grocery store when I walk in the door by the florist section. I'm ready for spring! The robins have made it back to town, but not as far up as our place (we're several hundred feet above town). My mother tells me about the flock outside her window. I shall try to be patient, and be glad that we won't have a drought this year.

My main thing is that early in the morning when I look out the window, the sky is the color that I see in the summertime, and that is what lets me know the darkest part of winter is over. Of course, maybe the sky is ALWAYS that color early in the morning - it's just that I'm already at work in the winter time when it's finally time for "early in the morning sky".
