I was wondering if anyone else experiences (or experienced) this phenomenon - I stopped having periods two years ago, and also started having mild to moderate hot flashes around the same time. They come and go, some days several, maybe one an hour, some days only a couple, but never a week has gone by without some, to some degree of severity. Manageable, thank goodness, but I'd still like them to go away! LOL! But here's the funny thing - whenever I come down with something like a cold or mild flu, the hot flashes disappear completely for the duration of the illness. That's a good thing, I guess, but it just got me wondering if this happens to anyone else? I've had two bad flues in the last two years and about 2-3 mild colds (it's not been a real good time in my health history for some reason - can I whine a little?) and each time, no hot flashes. Anyone else experience this? Becky
