Anne, I have heard that herbatint is good from others also, thanks for letting me know that it
works for you! I have been doing tons of research trying to find a vegan and also chemical
free hair dye. I found a site about henna that is very informative. Apparently henna is the
only thing you can put on your hair that has no chemicals whatsoever if you get PURE henna.
Apparently lots of henna mixes sold in health food stores have other junk in the mix. I
bought one of these mixes, used a little and then read that it could be bad, although I had no
adverse reactions to it. The site claims that you can cover gray with henna. Anyway, here is
the site if there are others who are looking to color their hair. They give very detailed
instructions on how to do it. I'm going to order some of their henna and give it a try. I will
let you all know how it turns out!
