I am so glad to have found this discussion board, being a lonely vegan elder and maybe the only vegan (besides my daughter) in my area! I adopted the vegan diet in late winter of this year. If only I knew about it in my early years, all three of my kids would be benefiting from a vegan diet now, and maybe my husband too. I love it! It has been such an educational journey so far and a treat to be able to share it with my daughter! Jo, your "Uncheese" cookbook is a lifesaver as we have been cheese lovers for so long. It's great to know I have a community of other "vegan elders" I can go to with questions, concerns, or just to share laughs! I look forward to meeting all of you! Nora
