I searched in boxes and found my copy of Food Allergy Survival Guide!! Right away I made Carrot Bisque with Exotic Spices, which is excellent! And the same day I made the Brown Rice Patties, with some changes - I had leftover cooked millet which I subbed for the rice, and because it wasn't at all sticky like rice, I added some leftover pinto beans, well mashed, that stuck everything together. They were just so delicious, and I still have some in the freezer, along with more Carrot Bisque. I'm still with the elimination/cleansing diet, sometimes struggling with such a restrictive way of eating - no sugar, no bread are the worst part. But I have lost of few pounds which keeps me hanging in there. And feeling better! Hope everyone is enjoying their summer, despite storms and heat waves, or here on the Pacific North West coast, a bit chilly for the last few days. August already!!
