Thanks so much for your detailed response, Becky!! I really appreciated all the information you shared. The dwelling place we are considering is not much different in size from an RV -- it's pretty darned small. But there would be a lot of pluses in the long run. Whittling down our stuff would be a valuable task, though, like you, there are just some memorabilia I can't part with. I like the idea of a portable "garage" in a tool box. I wonder if that would be enough "garage" for Michael. We'll probably have to figure out our own spaces and how not to invade each other's space when we need "alone" time. Good point about not staying angry too long!! We lived in very small place when we were first married, and where we live now isn't very big -- it's just a lot bigger than what we are considering. Your tips are very helpful! We've been talking about maybe each of us having one evening out a week just so the other could have alone time at home, so it sounds like we're on the right track from what you said. I come from a family of all girls, too. My one sister had two boys, and my other sister had two girls (and one stepdaughter). I can certainly see why you would welcome the boys and why they would seem "different" and fun. Thanks so much again, Becky! ~Jo
