I haven't posted in a while but I'm always thinking of all of you! :o) I just had to share. I purchased a 16oz container of sesame tahini from Cedars Foods (they make hummus, etc) since it was the first thing that grabbed my attention and I was in a hurry. I went to make Jo's Baba Ganouj from the Vegan Deli and spent at least 20 minutes trying to figure this thing out. I guess it was supposed to have one of those removable/breakable/perforated plastic tabs around the tub and then you lift the top off. HA! No way. I tried everything including kitchen shears, bottle openers, screwdrivers, needle nose pliers, I can't even remember what else. When I finally did break off a piece I thought it would slice my hand open. GAAAAH!! I got so irritated I emailed the company and told them that if this is the new standard I would not go out of my way to buy their products any more. I had to transfer it to a different container so I wouldn't spill any more since half of the sesame oil that was not even mixed in yet spilled out. GAAAGH!! I feel better just venting. Thank you! I guess the little things do push you over the edge! :o) PT :o)
