What an interesting and fun (and chilly) day you had, Becky! The regatta sounds like it would be a blast to watch (as long as I had a warm sweater on and a raincoat and umbrella!). That's hilarious about the saying regarding the Alaska "seasons." I'm sure 52 degrees F still feels quite warm to the locals. That's great that your husband liked my Oatmeal "Chocolate Chip" (aka raisin) Cookies so much! That's a wonderful compliment -- please tell him I said "thank you!" I'm so happy to know a little piece of me is up there with you in Alaska. What's next on your travel agenda (please excuse my short-term memory loss)? How long will be remaining in Anchorage? ~Jo
