Thank you! Yep, it's original. Comes from years of making up songs on the spot for my children when they were small. And I'd love to accept all your awe, I do accept it, in fact, but blues lyrics are seriously easy to come up with. Make up a first line, then a second. Repeat the first line, repeat the second, throw in another line and then a follow up, final line that rhymes with the 2nd and 4th lines. Make sure all the meter is pretty good and voila! Easy peasy. Try it sometime :)

I'm with you on lovin' the blues, which may make it a little easier to come up with the words. And that subject line, I was a sushi virgin, kept running through my head in a blues sort of way. :)
